1. Brief Introduction
The “Golden Romduol Award” is the official award of the Cambodia Asian Film Festival. The trophy is designed inspired by Romduol, the national flower of Cambodia, symbolizing both inner and outer elegance. With its fragrant scent and strong vitality, it endows the festival with vibrant new energy. Each year, nearly 500 films from more than 10 Asian countries enter the “Golden Romduol Award” competition, featuring rich themes, works by masters and young talents alike. We encourage diverse storytelling and genre creation. We look forward to your works being screened and competing with excellent films from Cambodia, China, Indonesia, India, Kyrgyzstan and other Asian countries. Let’s gather in Phnom Penh, use light and shadow as the medium, and jointly write a new chapter of integration and coexistence of Asian cinema.
