The Organizing Committee of Cambodia Asian Film Festival Signs Formal Cooperation Agreement with Fuzhou Film Festival Co., Ltd.
The 30th Hong Kong International Film & TV Market (FILMART) kicked off as scheduled on March 17. The banks of Victoria Harbour drew global players from the film and television industry, making this grand fair a core platform for Sino-foreign film and cultural exchange as well as industrial collaboration.
On this significant occasion, the Organizing Committee of Cambodia Asian Film Festival formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Strategic Cooperation with Fuzhou Film Festival Co., Ltd., injecting fresh momentum into mutual cultural learning between Chinese and Cambodian film sectors, the growth of Southeast Asia's film industry, and cross-regional integration of Asian cinema.
Adhering to the fundamental principles of equality, mutual benefit and amicable collaboration, the two parties have reached an in-depth strategic partnership focusing on the promotion of Southeast Asian film and television works. Moving forward, both sides will coordinate joint efforts across multiple dimensions including film exchange and screening, cross-border film promotion, reciprocal visits of industry delegates, sharing of publicity resources, and support for emerging filmmakers. By building diverse cooperation platforms, the partnership aims to deepen China-Cambodia film and cultural exchange through concrete actions, enabling more outstanding local Southeast Asian film and television productions to shine on pan-Asian stages.
