The 2nd Cambodia Asian Film Festival Concludes Successfully

he 2nd Cambodia Asian Film Festival was successfully held at PH Grand Hall in Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s capital city, on August 24. The festival gathered outstanding film productions from all across Asia, delivering a splendid audio-visual feast for audiences. Within this vibrant, artistically rich gala, we witnessed brilliant screenings of numerous remarkable films and enthusiastic participation from distinguished guests, jointly creating an unforgettable cinematic celebration.

The main competition jury of the 2nd CAFF was chaired by Malcolm Clarke, an acclaimed director and two-time Oscar winner. The final jury panel also included renowned Hong Kong director Teddy Chan, celebrated Cambodian director Chhay Bora, young Chinese director Zhou Ziyang, and prominent Cambodian producer Sovichea Cheap. Hundreds of celebrity guests graced the event, featuring Cambodian actors Shin Yubin, Khat Vaihang, Pich Votey Saravody and On Sophoeun; Myanmar star Paing Takhon; Chinese actresses and actors Hao Lei, Jiang Mengjie, Xie Keyin and Sun Xilun; as well as Malaysian performer Annuar Chew Bin, who all gathered to celebrate the grand occasion together.
