First Batch Shortlist Unveiled for “Golden Romduol” Award of the 4th CAFF
In July, the “Golden Romduol” Award, the main competition of the 4th Cambodia Asian Film Festival (CAFF), released its shortlisted films.
Spanning diverse genres and geographic regions, the shortlisted works range from serene narratives of East Asia and impassioned storytelling of South Asia, to vivid memories rooted in Southeast Asia and sweeping epics from Central Asia. With distinctive artistic sensibilities and incisive insights into the times, Asian filmmakers distill the spirit and rhythm of their respective cultures onto the screen. Far more than mere visual presentations, these films serve as emotional archives from all corners of Asia, capturing the struggles, aspirations and hopes of the continent today.
All these films will be screened in Phnom Penh, converging to form a radiant bouquet of Asian cinema at the 4th Cambodia Asian Film Festival.
